FS or Trade- Mike Haftel Bay Area Thrash (Langner) Modded 1979 JMP 2203
Mike’s Langner mod with mid shift, NFB, and Depth. My favorite and most raw and chewy Marshall mod that I’ve had to date.
It’s every bit as raw as it was in stock form, nothing filtered or polite about this mod. It’s got an incredible bounce and feel of connectedness, and is also one of the quietest mods I’ve ever played.
ARS cap job done approximately two years ago by Ampman (Anthony), who’s a friend and local to me.
He also moved the mod input to the rear of the amp, and the front input is now the stock circuit.
Clips are straight in.
Amp will ship loaded with JJ power/pre tubes.
Amp is solid and in great shape, with the typical nicks and aging of a 79.
It sounds absolutely ferocious and healthy as a horse.
$2950 PPG shipped, or possible trade for other amps. Not looking to ad cash.
