@Exo-metal , what do think of this new V2, by itself and compared to your other Langner mods?
I'd think the difference may especially be a "feel" thing when playing?

I had the same impression.
What about boosting the shit out of the Amp? Technically you would, more or less, run into the same issues you described, right? Or maybe it's just pushing the Amp way beyond it's physical limits, but it still works inside the given frame, so to say...

Incredible, best one yet. Feel/punch and clarity all there and then some. I absolutely love it. We couldn't crank it up there like we do at my place. When Mike has time we promise to. More clips coming, hopefully soon!

Man you weren’t kidding on the tightness. It definitely has more of a growl to it and is brighter. I actually think I like the Creamback clip more - it brings out more of the highs you voiced it for. IMO my greenbacks need some volume behind them to accentuate the highs - there’s a sweet spot that’s definitely not apartment friendly.

I wouldn’t say one version over the other is better - they both sound great.

Thanks! But yeah, I definitely prefer this version. And the Creambacks. You're right, the Greenbacks need more volume to get them to open up a bit.

Boosting a stock amp? Yeah, that gets you to a certain place. But you won't get the same tightness, feel, and aggression. You're slamming the front end of the amp, not changing the voicing, EQ filtering, B+ filtering, etc. All of these methods have their place. Just comes down to what sound you're after.
