Hey Guys,
I currently have a BE100 head and I think it's fantastic ! I have a scumback '68 spec tall bottom cab loaded with J-75 speakers and a Marshall 1960HWA cab loaded with Scumback BM75 speakers. Both of these cabs sound good in there own way with the BE100, but I was wondering if I'm missing anything by not running the amp with the recommended cabs and speakers...
-Any Input or suggestions are welcome

Not sure, I run my pink taco and KS modded 800 through a diezel 4x12 with scumback m75's on top and vintage 30's on the bottom and it is total heaven!!

I have a BE100 also that will be here tomorrow, I can give you the report on that after tomorrow, but I cant imagine it will be much different!

Do you think that the Black Back M75 speakers would match up with the V30's ?

I was playing Mark Days BE100 through a standard Friedman 4x12 and it sounded awesome.

I'm sure they'd match up just fine never tried the blackback version

I've got the Blackback versions in a 412 and V30s in another one side by side. They sound good together although the BM is not as loud. If you do the top mounting of them in the same cab like the stock Friedman, they should match up just fine, just as well as the regular GBs.

I've decided to go with the Friedman recommended speakers, so I sold my buddy 2 Scumback J75 Speakers and traded him my other 2 J75's for a pair of V30's. Avatar has a sale on speakers right now so I got a pair of Greenbacks for 189$ and free shipping. Im gonna throw them in my 1960HWA cab when the greenbacks get here.

i wouldve gladly traded you my extra v-30's for those scumbacks! lol
