Friedman Smallbox Brightness Problem

Your thread inspired me to install a pull-pot for the Depth control on my homebrew 50W Marshall. Pushed in is Tight and pulled is Loose/Raw. It just changes the NFB resistor (same effect as switching taps).

So which tap is which? I'm guessing that the before is the 8 ohm tap and the after is the 4 ohm tap.

Could somebody tell me how the mod is done. Emailed friedman a amps a few times never got a response.

TBH, other than the dweedly at the very beginning I like the before amp up to about :26 or so. I like the after amp for everything else (including intro dweedly). Amazing how much more focused the lead is after.
