As much as I found school useless and boring, I always had respect for my teachers.

At that age I went to P.S.189 in NYC. 35-40 kids per class room, nobody made a peep or ever even thought of talking back to a teacher,

That's the way it was when I was in school, we had about 25 in my class. The kids who were dumb enough to talk back got their asses handed to 'em. Teachers would take them out into the hallway and rough them up lol.

Have to admit, I did get into a lot of trouble for starting food fights and putting tacks on the teachers' chairs.
