Just a query about using a GMajor or similar with the Tourmaster.
Will I be able to use the midi controller to change patches on the fx unit as well as change channels on the Tourmaster as one unit?
Thanks.

You should able to use the full midi capabilities of the Tour Master amp. Can't see why that would be an issue at all, so yea I think so (I do not have a TM head). I used the G Major with the midi on my Egnater MOD 50 amp and it works just fine. Midi Pedal > MOD 50 > G Major. My 2 cents on the G Major is that I didn't care for it much. A little too pristine sounding. I actually like the Digitech GSP1101 (Effects only, no modeling) as a delay chorus unit.

I don't believe the Tourmaster is midi. The footswitch connector looks like a midi connector, but it's most likely not.

There is two relays in your G-Major, which you could use to switch between two of the channels on your TM, or possibly three. You would still have to have a custom cable made though, that goes from the G-Major's TRS jack to the TM's proprietary footswitch connector. Problem is, unless you never use one of the four channels, this option doesn't really cut the mustard.

Your 2nd (and best) option is to pick up a RJM RG-16. This would give you 8 loops for pedals or whatever, plus 8 control functions. I don't believe you'll need all 8 control functions to control every function on the TM, but there's no harm in harm in having extra.
