I just nabbed two G12H-30's for really cheap. I'm planning on putting them in a JCM 800 4212 combo. Are they gonna sound ok or should I not even bother. I have zero experience with this speaker.

The 75hz is what I have in a 412. The 800 sounded much better threw it than my Greenback/V30 cab.EyesOfTheSouth":2pxo81h8 said:I love the Heritage 75hz H30's. However, I couldn't disagree more about the previous post. The Anniversary H30's are much brighter and looser in the lows than a V30. If that's the case, then the V30's you are comparing to need to be broken in. The Heritage 75hz have more of a "M" speaker voicing. The Anniversaries are harsh and scooped in comparison.

I generally agree with this...but the other day I played through a well worn '87 Marshall cab with original G12 T75s..sounded REALLY good, almost greenbackish..I didn't believe him when he told me what speakers were in there..I pulled off the speaker inputs and looked and couldn't believe it..Business":1hsvk6ud said:Yes the V30 and G12H30 70th are a great mix
G12T-75... that speaker should just not exist
