Frankie Balani played drums and Tony Franklin on bass for that debut album.

He's still out touring his annual Ho Ho Hoey Christmas tour. I saw him here in Chicagoland a few years ago and got his pick after the show.

Dude, that Hamer with the "Animal Instinct" album cover on it was a dream guitar of mine, as a young 12 year old guitarist I listened to that album a lot after I saw the video for "hocus pocus focus" whatever it was called.

Good question. There was even a prototype floating around. There was also some videos on YouTube of him doing some Peavey clinics with a Triple XXX that vanished, is of something really soured between them. James Brown was still there at the time, he'd probably know..
