Are you sure its not the new randall that Fortin did for him to the left of the wizard??

So much WIN ... !

I like his LP sound better than ESP.

Much more full sounding and him soloing on the neck pup, Awesome.

Was that LP a R9 or R0 ?

I can tell they've toured last couple years, everyone's on their game.

Sounds good, but it doesn't have George's signature sound.

Sounded ok.
George seemed to be in his own little world. Not really connecting with the band....

yeah I watch 3 of the videos and he didn't once look at Oni...quite strange really

This makes me happy, George's tone and playing here is great! His improvising is good too! Damn even when the dude is "on" some folks don't quit bustin' balls lol. Even Oni was sounding good! Makes me happy. From what I can see it's the Randall head next to the Wizard that he's playing through(blue power light)...

I've seen George play 3 times in the last 5 years & every single time he looks, acted & played like he didn't want to be there or had no interest at all.

Look bored & zoned out & his playing reflected it. I guess now it's just a job for him. Too bad.

Nope. Wizard power light is on also...so both are running for sure. And as usual, probably some DSLs in the back line...   They really sounded good though....

George doesn't seem that interested in it. Looks a bit non motivated. I guess after so many years it gets redundant. He's always been active unless I'm mistaken.

Great video - I think Lynch was great. Band sounded good. I hope they are this good when I see them this Summer....

I think it sounds great - the tone as well as Oni.
Not Georges signature tone, but I really like it. Also not his most on fire/in the zone playing, but I still think it's solid and very good.

As far as backline - never believe what you see when it comes to George.. a bud of mine was his TM years ago, and I was behind the stacks for part of the show...

He's 60 years old, he's been doing this for a little while. Do you want him and his band to join hands on stage and have a kumbaya to meet your expectations?

Maybe he's thinking about what his next signature amp will be to get all his tone chasers to fall for.

Just making an observation, junior. Everyone's a smart ass these days.

There are plenty of players 60+ years old that play with fire and like they mean it.

None of the above. A student at the ESP luthier academy in Japan built it for George a long time ago. It says "George" in the normal Gibson logo place (obscured in the video by the tuner) and "Lynch Model" in the center of the headstock. It's a '59 repro. I worked on that guitar for him years ago on his last tour with Dokken.

Oni sounds really good here too... maybe off the booze or at least cleaned up his act until after the show when he gets obliterated. Either way, sounded pretty good to me as far as live Lynch goes. A few liberties in and out of the solo but hey that is how he rolls.
