George Lynch on a Les Paul

I am not a Les Paul fan and George needs a floyd to sound like George. I saw George in the early 2000's and he played a black Les Paul much of the night and also spent a good portion of the show tuning the freaking thing. I saw Dokken around the same era and when John Norum (who is a HUGE FAV of mine) came out on stage stage with a Les Paul..... I already knew it was not going to sound like the Dokken I knew and loved. Plus, I had just fairly recently seen Dokken multiple times with Reb Beach and they just CRUSHED it every time. And considering George Lynch is my all time favorite player I was not an easy sell. I was right there in front of the stage when they filmed the Live From The Sun concert at the Sun Theater in Anaheim California. I met Don Dokken that night breifly before they went on. He did not say a lot because he said he was trying to save his voice for the show.
