I like the cosmetics better than the alligator stuff

So he can have them onstage for show with his SLO and Friedman behind them? :S

ha ha. True. I know they do that for the $, but why not just try and get an endorsement deal with a Friedman or Soldano since that's what they actually play? Can Randall offer that much more $? Couldn't they create an amp close to a Soldano?

Big Lynch fan....fugly design. Hard to take his signature gear seriously anymore.

I'm with you Griff but dammit i am going to order this amp! Gut feeling or just being optimistic, i think this might finally be the Lynch Sig amp that he actually uses. Think this time it might be killer amp

Not a single fuck will be given after that other thread with the SLO and Freidman..

^ THIS

Yep George is a huge gear whore and most of his signature stuff is OK at best.

Agreed. Lynch is my #1 influence, but I play a lot of EVH gear.

However, I'd love to give it a try. The LB103 is far from a terrible amp, but I personally don't think its even up to par with the 5153. Just me...

I can't believe this guy is getting any kind of signature gear these days, he hasn't done anything notable in 30 years and is well known for not playing 98.3% of the signature stuff that he does have.

I agree and he's not the only one by far. Loads of washed up guys that still have signature guitars / amps etc. Doesn't Steve Stevens have a signature Friedman amp? What's he done... pretty much ever? Sure he's a great player but I think it has to do with guys like Lynch, Stevens and many others being able to design/help to design products that people like and will buy because they look/sound great.

Damn that's an ugly amp for sure, I bet it sounds good though.

......Especially with the Friedman behind it

Actually a big fan of Fortin stuff, but could not pass that one up. :D

I don't get the "he hasn't done anything notable in x years" comments. Comments like that come from short sighted, bratty guitarists. Guys like Steve Stevens and George Lynch, whether you like them or not, played significant roles in the world of rock guitar. They may not be burning up the airwaves these days, but most of the rock on radio now is bullshit anyway.

There was an old washed-up guy named Les Paul that had a signature model. You may have heard of him?

I can't believe you actually wonder what Steve Stevens has done. Possibly one of the dumbest things I read on a forum today, and that is really saying something.
