It 'simply' started because Ukrainians were killing native speaking Russians who were still living in Ukraine after Russia 'gifted' Ukraine with territory in the 1990s...but with conditions.What I mean is why do YOU think that war started?

PLUS...Crimea and others held winning public referendums wanting to secede from Ukraine and rejoin Russia and Ukraine wouldn't allow that and the murdering intensified.
PLUS...the legal document Minsk agreements between Ukraine and Russia were not being met by Ukraine.
I'll say it for the 10,000th time...Putin and Russia do NOT want Ukraine in total back under Russian rule.
If Putin wanted all of Ukraine and wasn't being so patient and humane with them he'd put all his birds in the air and it would be all over for Ukraine on a Sunday afternoon. That's why it is NOT a war...it's a SPECIAL MILITARY OPERATION and always has been.
People can't and don't want to hear or read the truth. The joke is on them because Russia is going to get exactly what it started out to achieve and nobody is going to stop them.
