Was looking to get a Gibson 498t bridge pickup and saw one listed on Reverb as a lefty pickup from a SG. Since it came out of a left handed SG, does it matter? Was looking to put it in my SG but didn't know if there was a difference in the pole peices height, spacing, etc. I have never seen pickups advertised for left handed guitars. Any thoughts?

No, it does not matter but that gives me a hell of an idea for a business. "Flanders' hand wound left hand pickups"

The lead will be coming from the top instead of the bottom but if it’s long enough, won’t be an issue. There’s nothing special about the pole pieces or wind in regards to the strings so the guitar won’t notice.
