What would be good price for a used Fatbottom 4x12? Unloaded?

I wouldn't say more than a $150 - $200 if it's unloaded. I sold a beat up one that had V30s a few years ago for $400. I thnk I paid closer to $300 for it though.

Cool. That would've been perfect because I'm looking for one to slap some V30's in.

It's silly how low the resale is on these cabs. They are equal to any other boutique cab-I love 'em!

I had the 2x12 and it was a good cab. Tight, but sounded great with my old carvin legacy. I sold mine years ago for $450, but it was mint.

A few years ago I got a D120 and FB412 for $1000. The FB412 was minty.

I've seen it go between $400 and $550 used--GC has some in fair to poor condition at $550 which is one of those times where they're asking too much compared to market.

It's a good cab. I think my old Mills with V30's was better sounding, but that was so heavy so as to be unpractical.

I saw the GC used ones, but I thought those were deliverance cabs. But yeah, they looked pretty beat up for the price.

I think they're mis-marked. The FB cabs have the white piping around the grillecloth. The D cabs don't. You can also see the tabs for pulling off the front frame for speaker access on those GC cabs. They look identical (sans condition) to my cab.

What?! GC mis-mark something? Impossible

I thought you bought a fatbottom for the elusive P50's:. Otherwise it's not worth much unloaded, just as much as any other unloaded can I guess.. I sold mine with stock speakers for $425. In my opinion mesa cabs are of much better quality. And I'm not a homer, I don't even own one at the moment. I currently have a krank and a mode4 cab. Both of which are larger than the Fryette.

i got one with p50e speakers for 260 shipped from GC used site.. my other ones have been 500-600

Not sure how much this info will help you, but I sold a stock, loaded one in near mint condition for $500 if I remember correctly. Absolutely killer cab.

I bought a used 412 w stock p50e speakers and dead mint for 500 bucks. Drove up to New Jersey to pick it up. Best cab I've ever had the pleasure of playing through.

Lots of fluxuation it seems.

I bought my D412 directly from Fryette Unloaded for $225 shipped if I recall. It was a demo cab but it was near mint.

I thought that was a steal. I'd probably pay up to $350 for one unloaded if it was in halfway decent shape.

I actually contacted them a couple of weeks for a price for an unloaded fatbottom, but they said they'd have to get back to me.

When I found them they were on eBay. Seller was Fryette and there were 2 cabs listed. I didn't have the money at the time and just watched them not sell so a few weeks later I called and asked for one.

They tried selling for more, not much more but I mentioned the eBay listing and they agreed to match the starting price.

They're hard to get ahold of from what I remember but I've always had great service from them and on their forums.

Their amps are unique and I really miss my pitbull. I may get another one day or would like to try a D120 and that new power station.

A little off topic but someone messaged me on here with an interesting cab offer when I was looking but decided on the Mills.

He had a V-Boutiqe cab which I had never heard of but with some research and after talking with the builder he used to make cabs for Fryette a while back and Bogner cubes, early USA dieselz I think and Friedman.

I confirmed with Friedman and he had nothing but praise for V-Boutiqe.

Anyway sorry so far off the deep end there but I figured if you were looking for an interesting cab it may be worth checking out.

I forgot about V-Boutique. I didn't know they made stuff for Fryette. I'll shoot them a line and see if they still make something fatbottom-like. Thanks for the tip.
