It's Twisted and EVIL

I'm one of the lucky few (so far) thats had the priviledge of playing a few of his amps. They are awesome, through and through. Trust me when I say that the Natas metal amp won't only turn some heads, its going to bite them off and spit'em out

Hello Everyone and thank you very much for the kind words

42 relays to be exact in the 6 channel MEATHEAD  It may seem extreme for some but it's an amp that I've always wanted. As a player, I've always gravitated towards high gain channel switchers.

Ralph, have fun with the BONES amp tonight and don't forget to run the master full on...it completely stays together :)

Cheers,
Mike

I still say.. pummel the front end with the Furman PQ-3 though :D

:hys:

I was gonna suggest the PQ-3 + PQ-4 in series. But i think that may be just a little too evil and twisted haha!! :D

Power section fused in pairs so you can still play if you lose a tube, that is pretty cool. digging the L/M/H switch as well, should make this amp cover some ground.

WTF is a KT100?!?!?!?!? Holy shit what would the power output be with the amp loaded with those????? Oh man that would rule if they are 88s on roids

Thanks, it's only happened to me once during a gig that I lost an output tube and the whole amp ,of course , shuts down. Not a ground breaking idea but I think a useful one having the outputs fused :)

4 KT88 in the outputs will do 180 watts RMS

Cheers,
Mike

Hey Ralphie!!!

Have a blast with "Bones"!

Mike's not only a genius at design but also quite a player with a very keen ear for tone.
These two attributes are rarely contained in the same package.
I too, have had the priviledge of playing thru Mike's offspring and I will own one soon. He is a very quiet, humble trustworthy guy who really just thrives on good guitar tone!
Once the name "FORTIN" is out there, he will have a very hard time keeping up with demand. His work is "that" good!

Great to see ya here on RigTalk Bro-Mike!!!

Good group here - Enjoy!!

Have fun tonight Ralph!!

Hey Ralph,

I'm sure it won't be a problem. His wife and kids are use to it. He records bands all the time at the house. Plus, you'll be taking it home with you to abuse

Cheers,
Mike

You will have fun tonight I'm sure :)

Rochefort 10 is my favourite beer I've had to date. If you lived close by I'd give you one just for being a cool guy over the years ! Its a Belgium quadruple, with alot of raison, fig, velvety smoothness to it. Its definitely not an imperial stout, but almost as thick as one ! One of those beers that coats your mouth/throat throughout, so as you get closer to the finish different flavours emerge. Yes its that complex  Mike F. is in for a treat next time I visit him. Also at 11.3 % one bottle is enough

I know you're a beer freak too so please try one when you have a chance. Back to the amps.......

That sounds awesome!! Ive tried rochefort before and I liked it but didn't love it but the guy at the store told me that I tried the wrong one! He said that the 10 was what I should be looking for but it was sold out!! I'll try it out this weekend lol!! :D

I was digging LaTrappe quad bigtime but they vary in taste depending on the batch you get. Ive had amazing tasting batches and then other batches where I was wondering why I raved about it the last time I drank it lol :D

All the best !!

Yup, its all about the 10. Very different than the 6 & 8. Just tried a LaTrappe triple last week, not my favourite triple but it was ok.

Anyway have a great time with Mike's amp. Like he said put the master on full, it won't even flinch !
