I will try to tone it down a bit for ya Good Buddy!
No more Wet/wet/wet/dry/semi-dry/wet........
My clips are probably the worst on Rig talk!!

But.........Fuck it....
its only rock n roll....

no sweat,Dan! i'm not picking on anyone in particular,i just always thought it difficult to really "hear" an amp with all the excess stuff going on in some of these vids digi jams is just finally gettin outta his pajamas,today,so he's a bit testy & looking to stir things up

It is hard to figure out what alot of guys are demoing , the amp or there effects?

that's my basic point.it's like,when you're anticipating getting a chance to hear a cool new amp,such as on this forum,but then the added fx,whatnot are drowning the amp's natural tone,i'm like... ok,well now i'd still like to hear the amp.


hey,there's nothing wrong with all the GREAT clips that guys take the time to record and put out for us to hear,just saying that too much of the "added stuff" takes away from getting a chance to hear more of the pure tone of the amp....that's all i'll say.

Whats funny is the new FJA modded Recto I got...
sounds so damn good without the boost....then when I put a clean boost in front of it...
it oversaturates the amp.
Think its running at 110% with Jerrys Mods on it now!

No boost required!

Well. You don't need to boost a modded Recto. We are talking Marshall here Dan. I like the tone of a boosted amp. It has to be a very transparent boost though.

Dont hold your breath, I get the snot kicked out of me everytime I play a low gain plexi type amp...............I am not an Ant, Darren, Curt, etc
