Also, the speakers in both are not the same. I don't think they're super close, TBH. Both have got the squishy Greenback vibe, yes, but the RI Greenbacks are edgier, rattier, and raspier. The EVH's are smoother a bit more woody. I like the RI's better, personally, but I really really really like both, and I wouldn't say no to either.

Love the EVH. 8-9 years on mine no complaints. Every amp I've played through it (50 or so) has sounded great to my ears, but I play 99% the time with a K100 212 sitting on top. The two cabs together produce great results. Either by itself is good, combined...great.

I love my EVH 2x12 cab but if money was no object, I'd have a Friedman 4x12.

Marshall cabs have more ‘snap’ to them than the EVH cab ime. EVH is maybe a bit thicker, darker.
Both sound good and are different enough to own one of each.
