"UK teacher ‘likened to terrorist’ for showing students Trump videos"

A teacher at a school in Britain says he was “likened to a terrorist” for showing his students several videos of US President Donald Trump, The Telegraph has reported.

According to the paper, the man was forced to resign from Henley College in Oxfordshire, after he was accused of radicalizing students and causing them “emotional harm,” which the teacher described as “dystopian” persecution.

An internal investigation against the teacher, in his 50s, who asked not to be named, was launched back in January. It reportedly followed some complaints from students, who claimed his teaching was “biased” and “off-topic” because of the Trump videos. One of the students also allegedly became so “emotionally disturbed” by the clips that they caused nightmares.

His case was eventually referred to a child protection agency, which, in turn, concluded that the teacher’s views “could be perceived as radical” and told the school to report him to the Prevent – a UK government program designed to tackle terrorist radicalization in schools and elsewhere.

If a Trump video caused him nightmares, I wish him luck for the hardships of life. He might want to crawl in a closet and stay there.

Marrying a first cousin is legal in the UK.

Health Secretary Wes Streeting has previously warned of the dangers of the practice.

He said: "The medical science and evidence is clear.

"First-cousin marriages are high risk and unsafe; we see the genetic defects it causes, the harm that it causes."

Research, including from the long-running Born in Bradford study, has found children from first-cousin marriages are more likely to have speech and language difficulties, less likely to reach a "good stage of development", and have more GP practice appointments.

The study also found that, after allowing for risk factors such as age, obesity and smoking, the risk of congenital anomalies was doubled (3% to 6%) in first-cousin marriages and accounted for 30% of genetic disorders.

Interviews among 13,500 families between 2007 and 2011 for the study found 60% of couples of Pakistani heritage were related by blood (first cousin, second cousin or other blood relative), with 37% first-cousin marriages.

This compares with less than 1% in white British couples.

"Section 121 of the Orwellian "Online Safety Act' that the Tories passed hands Ofcom the powers to compel any messaging platform to do 'client-side scanning' - meaning the tech firm must use "accredited technology" to scan your messages for content the government deems “harmful”.

To start with it's child abuse and terrorism (of course - who could argue with that?), but make no mistake, before you know it all the things the police use as an excuse to turn up at people's doors for things they say on public platforms will be used to persecute citizens for things they say in private.

ALL your messages will be scanned in real time as you send them.

Not just suspicious ones, or flagged ones.

Starmer is turning your phone into a real-time government informant.

The government has been working to make encryption irrelevant for years, it's why Apple withdrew their Advanced Data Protection service from the UK - because they refused government demands

This is unprecedented territory for this country.

Lord Hanson of Flint - who is leading this awful mission - has "set a date of April 2026" for Ofcom to enforce these powers.

The era of private messages being private is about to come to an end.

Reform will repeal this dystopian surveillance Act."
