I hated this year. Both my parents had strokes within weeks of each other, my coworker killed himself, wars and political stuff, etc.
I'm so done with this year. I entered the world of Synergy amplification though so that rocks, lol.

Lost our 16 year old American Eskimo dog and our 24 year old Siamese cat who we had since they were both a pup and a kitten , Had a family member who committed suicide and my wifes best friend from college died of a stroke as well as our son got divorced from his wife who we really loved having in the family and haven't had the best year with AI taking over a large part of our industry so I am looking forward to leaving 2025 behind and praying for a much better year in 2026. Sorry to put this out there.

2025 has been awful. Storm damage to our house this spring, tons of expensive HVAC problems, and it seems bills and taxes reigned supreme.
The only good thing that happened to us was that we rescued our newest puppy.
I'm hopeful 2026 is a little nicer to us.

Sounds like you have had a year even tougher than I did. Sorry to hear about all of that tough stuff. I keep reminding myself how quickly things can change so important to live life and enjoy whatever you can.

2025 started rough but ended well for me, mostly. 2022 was the worst year in recent memory, as I lost my dad and I had a hernia that year.

Yep, same here. Father in law got murdered, practice space flooded, cat died, basically the worst year of my entire life.

It's been a roller coaster for sure and I am ready to hopefully leave it all behind for sure. You are right how quickly things can change so damn fast , but overall I am an optimist at best even battling depression from time to time I can't stay in the dark place too long you know, as I try to make the best every day and thank God for music as it's always been there to save me from myself in one form or another ! Rock On!

It wasn't great for me, but not even in the same ballpark as 2017 was. In fact, after 2017, every year is a good year.

2025 was a very busy, sometimes stressful, but excellent year overall for me personally, but a dreadful year for becoming even more aware of the amount of evil strangling my country and the West. My problems are very small in comparison.
I am going to renew my focus, discipline, and priorities. My ship is already in great shape, but that's the bare minimum, isn't it? I can make a difference that helps others.

My boss of 30 years at work got abruptly fired early last year, leaving the workload to be distributed amongst the remaining full time staffers (3). Managerial duties without the managerial pay. Then one of those guys went on sick leave for the summer/fall. 2 guys running the department, which at our peak years ago had 7 people working in it. I spent every Saturday basically recovering, such was the mental exhaustion
