Goodbye 2025 ...

2025 started rough but ended well for me, mostly. 2022 was the worst year in recent memory, as I lost my dad and I had a hernia that year.

I lost my dad in late 2022 as well man. Heart attack with no warning. It was a huge shock for us all. Definitely the worst event of my life so far. I understand the pain..cheers.

Yep, same here. Father in law got murdered, practice space flooded, cat died, basically the worst year of my entire life.

Fuck 2025.

Sorry to hear all this man. It can only get better, right? Here's to 2026 being a great year for you. Did you wind up able to salvage any of the gear from the flood?

It wasn't great for me, but not even in the same ballpark as 2017 was. In fact, after 2017, every year is a good year.

It's been a roller coaster for sure and I am ready to hopefully leave it all behind for sure. Your are right how quickly things can change so damn fast , but overall I am an optimist at best even battling depression from time to time I can't stay in the dark place too long you know, as I try to make the best every day and thank God for music as it's always been there in one form or another ! Rock On!

So true about music being a refuge and a lifeline, it sure has been for me at times.

The Palisades fire made 2025 fairly rough...But it was a character building exercise, stronger for it.

Thanks brother! Yeah things are better and has given me a good perspective on the big picture. I think sometimes all of us can get wrapped up in things that don't matter. Then something happens that changes your thought process.

Just a couple pedals. Everything else is a complete loss, including multiple amps and guitars.
