I don't know why I'm still surprised how quickly people forget who it was that immediately lined up against Trump once it became apparent he had a chance. And the ramifications of that. I mean for years you had left and right arguing with each other and the main "Common ground" was that the entire congress was fucked and politicians were all mostly corrupted. So when you have the entire political class on both ends of the spectrum lining up against a guy you would think that regular people would think " Hey, maybe we're on to something here". At a minimum you would think all the shit that has been heaped on Trump, and I am not talking about all the shit he brought on himself, which is a lot, would be widely recognized as manufactured bullshit. People hate this fucker so bad they are totally willing to suspend critical thinking and twist themselves into pretzels trying to explain away how the same exact shit was somehow different when someone else was doing it. For example the whole "Fascist" thing. I find it very hard to believe that JD and a whole lot of other leftists really don't know what fascism is. They know what it is yet they still keep on with the "Threat to democracy" spiel. Even while the democrats were installing their chosen candidate without a single vote.
