Griffin Analog/Uncle Waynzo Appreciation Thread

Wayne have you made a Fortin 33.3 type pedal yet ?

Definitely has made some more than interesting things over the years.

Huge fan. Finally plugged in my Mansfield preamp that Wayne built me. Immediately kicked a plumes off of my board. Absolutely love this thing!

My main man Pat .... I absolutely appreciate the critique ...

Graphics are something I struggle with a lot ... just being a one man show ..... and everything I do being self taught ... some parts of the building process can be real daunting .. and I do settle for things I probably wouldn't if there was two of me ...

I try to keep symmetry in everything I do .. from the graphics to the layout of the PCB ... to knob placement etc ..

usually the easiest way for me to come up with graphics as cringy as it may sound is ... I try to be myself .... insert my sense of humor when I can ...

to use the Super Doopah as an example .... I'm a New England boy .... mainly from Mass ... about 30 minutes from Boston .... I think you can figure where the name came from now ...

Names for pedals are the hardest to come up with ..... I very much like the JHS approach with using just a graphic

I've thought about putting my logo on the front of every pedal ..... but that costs a little under 20 bucks to add it
mahalo for not taking my comments personally!
i have the best intentions for you and just shooting from the cuff as first impressions go.

totally get the doopah now you cunning linguist and maybe you should do a “Bwahsten” or “Bearstun” pedal to sound like Tom Scholz tone!🤣

my accent isn't that bad .... :ROFLMAO:

just so everyone knows .... there isn't a movie I've seen where a actor that doesn't have the accent to begin with nails it ...

they all over do it ..... I absolutely love Scorsese films ...... the accents in the Departed made me laugh out loud ..

Was fortunate enough to be able to perform the 'Blues Bros. Review' on Bass with an ensemble for a competition and then again some years later (about 10!) on guitar.

Gotta throw on some Soul Man right now!!

I always dug this one -

Ha. Iove that one. It's what I'd like to do with a few guys around this place too, they need it

A buddy of mine from up north called me the other night. We haven't talked since the early 2000's. I could barely understand him, that's how long I been away. Owutchabendoin? Aintherdfrumuinyearsk eh? I don't think my accent is bad but I still get called on it down south.
