Well I guess it doesn't start with a 5 or a 1 so you win!

A 5150...nah, on this forum you can only post clips from Friedman amps or Axe-Fx units. WHAT?

a cherry bomb ;)
  My only point was that based on a compressed YouTube of a live performance recorded by some portable device it could be literally anything. There is really no logical way to tell what amp this was.

This!

The real question is the wig a Peavey as well.

:D

The 5150 combos are the best by far! Gotta be hooked up to a nice external 4x12 though. That amp is so much wider than you'd expect!

From what I read on the 'net, EVH used the 5150 combo through a V30 loaded 4x12 for the FUCK tour. Sounded damn good to me.

Here is a website showing his live rig setup on tour.
The middle of the page is his 5150 "Live Without A Net" tour , the last tour he used Marshall's on .
At the bottom of the page is his F.U.C.K. tour setup , no combos in sight .

The combos were all over the stage for the F.U.C.K. tour. Maybe they weren't plugged in…

Sadly, I know this answer.

The 5150 combos were on stage during the Balance Tour, not F.U.C.K.

He said he used the combos for cleans and heads for dirty tones.

During the F.U.C.K. tour, the stage had full stacks everywhere and two 5150 heads on top of the two cabinets.

I am not surprised, of the PV 5150's that combo was always the best for getting old school VH tone.
I used one for years cause of that plus they just sound good! ;)
