I swear man there are so many shockingly good musicians that pass through our stage that there are just too many to list.
All genres--
The next big thing we are hosting is the Newsboys concert march 20.

isnt that marc ford on that trussart/ wah at the beginning?

you have guessed correctly :)

i wish i could tell you he was a mean and terrible person, and that he didn't play very well.

but i can't.

he jammed. i brought an old italian crybaby wah for him to check out, and he liked it enough to use it today, and he really seemed to dig it. he sounded so good with it that i just gave it to him as a blessing and encouragement for jamming for the Lord!

hopefully i can dig out a clip soon of the killer wah tone he got....

That was a really cool thing you did!

Newsboys are great in concert - they put on an energetic show and the lights are put to use very well. You don't hear too many bands from down under lately. I'm glad they are doing so well.

i just heard some of the audio from today's music..... i wonder why the guitars were so loud??? :inlove:

my next mission for this year is to get the dyno 4 to play at our church!

"so mike, what would you like to hear in your monitor mix, besides me screaming like a school girl at a jonas brothers concert?" :D

WAH

pretty good for a board mix...with headphones it sounds pretty live to me!

he makes that wah sing with old school goodness.

Saw Kotzen last Monday and he only used his signature Tele. He was ok, either seriously high or boozin to much so he wasn´t really ON most of the time.

Not my type of music by any means, BUT it's music and it's good music and I appreciate many styles. AS for the board mix, it's absolutely GREAT. . Very very professional job!

+1 Very Cool !

Where are these gigs at ?
at my church in redlands, ca.

It's funny how i really don't have much interest in going out to concerts because I get to hear such great live music every week at church!

I'd encourage everyone to seek out solid bible teaching churches in your areas.
You might be surprised what you find.

i appreciate your comments.
hey listen there are some musicians that visit our church that I am not as excited about but there is something that happens when a musician uses their gifts for a higher calling and not for self glorification.
as for the mix, it sure is nice to mix players who have their sound worked out and know how to self edit/arrange professionally.

add the inspiration factor of mixing people I totally admire and it's win win!

pedals were teese wah, the old crybaby, an analogman sunlion, and at one point i saw a t-rex delay
