I suspect that all music supply outlets will be closed buy the end of next year, maybe sooner. The real collapse has yet to been seen, but it is most definitely on the way.

GC will likely not be going away. Just restructuring the company with the creditors becoming the new owners. However, technically your warranty claim could become an unsecured claim that could get wiped out in the bankruptcy proceedings. I have a good amount of bankruptcy experience, but only for energy companies. Not sure what the typical protocol is for consumer retail on something like this.

Most of the debt is probably to Gibson and Fender.. I'm sure there is a plan. I don't believe they have restructured in the past? so this will be the first step, normally.
