Guitars with similar neck to the EBMM Petrucci

Get a Suhr, Anderson or Luxxtone. Have them copy the neck. :thumbsup:
 
I have used an Axis as my main gigging guitar for 7 years now so am very very comfortable with the neck.

Tried the JP model MM and HATED the neck! Completely different beasts.
 
Thanks for all the suggestion. What I like about the JP neck is that it's effortless to play.
I tried one sure before and liked it, it's just damn expensive...

I've never tried an Anderson but owned a PRS and never bonded with it.
Anywho, I will try more guitars until one speaks to me :D
 
If your budget is tight and you only need a backup... Go try the "Sterling" version of the JP. Not a real one but plays quite nice and a 3rd of the price. Put 2 good Dimarzios and you'll have a real decent backup of your JP.

yeah i have never been a fan of PRS necks but those things have quite a different neck profile. wide and flat, not nearly as full in the hand or bat feeling as the other ones
