Guitars you wish you still had.......................

I wish I still had an early PRS Custom 24 with the one-piece trem on it. It was a gold dye quilted 10-top and one of the earlier built guitars. I sold it to get the PRS I have now.

Probably every guitar I've ever sold apart from the Jacksons :D

Biggest regret Jem77FP...it was almost mint and now worth 3 x what I sold it for.

Black Ibanez 540 PHH
Haven't seen one on ebay since I sold mine

Black 73' Fender Strat ( Stolen)
Blonde 72' Fender Strat ( Stolen)
Early 80's USA 57'/62' reissue Fender stat

My Kramers and Steinbergers from the late 80s/early 90s. One particular PRS that I was very fond of. A couple of Fenders. My Suhrs.

I wouldn't mind having back nearly every guitar and amp I've ever owned. I can find something to like about all of them. Really the only reason I've ever sold gear was because I'm not comfortable having a lot of money tied up in what are - for my use - just toys...

Thinking of starting to clean house soon.

Let me know and it's yours, can't remember what I gave you for it, you gave me a great deal...same deal.

I only use my Marshall and Vox for gigs so it's making little sense to me having the other amps just sitting around.

What an amazing guitar.. Never should have sold it for that cheap either.. $600

I hear ya. I paid $1400 New for the Steve Morse & sold it for $900 in mint condition because I was "Gass'n" for something else.......Sickest part is that I don't even remember what it was I bought afterwards.........

1st nice guitar I had
esp mk II
stripped it down and my brother, an artist, painted this picasso

sold it to hire a keyboardist...

I don't miss any that I have sold. The closest was a 70s LP goldtop that I had for a day and returned for a newer LP, wish I would have kept the older one. I have more regrets about stuff I should have bought but didn't. All the guitars I have sold have been middle of the road utility type guitars, nothing special or vintage.

That is the worst, I have been lucky enough to have not had anything stolen but I have a few that I would miss daily.

Those early reissues are interesting guitars. The 82 and 83s are way different than the ones they made after. They are way more accurate to the originals than the ones they made later. Every one I have played has a "vibe" to it that the newer ones just don't have.

My first was a new '86 Ibanez RG550 black, split it in half years later on my hip bone trying to keep the sustain going. My '92 Ibanez RG570 Maple Blue Flame top, was mint and only played maybe 8 times, sold it in '08 still had the new smell in the case.  also matched my '82 roadster that I still have.

I really miss this guitar, I know it's ugly, but it's so ugly that it's straight

the BEST guitar ibanez has EVER made!! i really want to track one of them down. sadly the prices have gotten a bit nuts on them keeping me from pulling the trigger on one.

I had bought a les paul artision not sure of the spelling, but it was all mohogony 3 pichup model with all kinds of shapes on the fretboard and headstock. The only other one I have seen is on the front of an old aprialwine album that myles the singer was playing. :bash: :bash:

An old blue Jackson I had. 80's model, not sure which one, and my ltd Viper 301. It was black with white emg 81-60A combo. Kicked so much ass for playing metal.

At least I still have my very first electric. It's an old made in somewhere strat. I cut one of the horns off, drilled a 1 1/2 hole though the body, played catch with it in a parking lot and lit it on fire. I'm going to put a new neck on it and it will ROCK!

My Gibson Zakk Wylde LP!! It weighed 10.3 lbs and it was a metal machine!!!! Great guitar but not real versatile.
