My pleasure - but correct me if I am wrong, there seems to be a flavour of KSE in your music, is this true? If so, get the VH4 - period.

There is a hint of KSE in there  . I like my amp extremely tight with a very punchy percussive low end. I like to feel the power while palm muting + great note articulation which I got but need the midi and some other sounds as well. My amp is a one trick pony.

So If I buy used what is the year with the newest revisions on a VH4?
2007 onwards is the biz. 2009/2010 loaded with 6550's cut like bloody razors and are ridiculously beautiful and brutal all in one

I got a 2005 and it slams. no razor stuff happening here , just slamming stuff..
Just for clarification with regards to my Braddah's comment above - in times of higher gain, compressed, chugga, djent playing, the V cuts through the mix like none other.

That's all I meant by "razor". I know m'man Reza, and come to think of it me too, love Channel 2, it's the biz when you dial it in sweetly with a bit of OCD or BB+... Bloody MONEY tone!!

Peace Y'All,
V.

So on the Hagen page on the Diezel website it mentions 2 trims for pair-biasing. JUST a thought, although I KNOW these are coming with the recommended EL34BHTs, in seeing there are 2 pairs able to be separately biased, does this mean 2 pairs of different kinds of glass can be used?? Just a thought, not messing with anything, just a thought.... :D

Namaste,
V.

Anyone care to chime in about the mix-a-tube concept?? Two trim pots = 2 pairs of tubes, no? Does this mean, JUST out of curiosity, that one COULD, hypothetically, combine, say, 2 x 6550s and 2 x KT77s or the like, hypothetically speaking, of course...

Ahem....
V. :D
