I highly recommend a DK2Q HT... I think there's one on Reverb right now. I yanked out the stock white pickups and threw in an EMG 57tw/66tw and couldn't be happier. Excellent guitars...

I just bought one last week. 2004 USA SL2HT Lightning Sky Graphic. traded a Jim Root Strat and some cash for it.

Yeah there are lots of hardtail Soloists (String thru) and RRs and King Vs out there.

Yeah, the SL1T and SL2HT aren´t that unusual, they were production ("Select") models for many years, and if you´re looking for something a bit pointier there was a RR1T for a long time too. I´d say those three models are your best bet, even though there have been many less common models and versions over the years too.

Another option is the HT6 Juggernaut models if that's your thing.
