Did the PRS Tekton rip off Serenghetti Guitars? 🤔

That Sarenghetti I did a double take because I thought I was looking at a Driskill. Then I saw the cheesy body carve and realized it was more like a Temu Driskill.

Driskills are great guitars BTW but lousy business practices and long out of business. They come up cheap used sometimes.

Driskill was the first thing I thought of too. Not when I saw the Tekton though, just the Serenghetti.

Man I wish Driskill hadn’t closed shop. I always liked those guitars. Never got to play one but they looked awesome and the owner seemed to love his work.

Which kinda ripped off ESP Horizon 3?

ESP is exactly what I thought when I saw the new PRS lineup.

Yeah, I think he was a good guy but he was no bean counter and he needed a bean counter.

I still see it , but each to their own. I will assure you that Serenghetti USA makes fantastic instruments. Definitely nothing "Temu" or cheap in any part of those guitars. That made me laugh, though. No, I don't work for them 🤣, but I am pretty darn familiar with Serenghetti Guitars because I've bought 2 over the last decade and they are truly incredible. So much so that I have slowly sold many of my other guitars because I didn't play them as much as I used to. To each their own. I am not so hung up on myself that I will crap on somebody just for having a different opinion.
