Has perfect high gain guitar tone been achieved?

I do like their song 'Chocolate' but not sure why.

Oddly I never liked that song of theirs much, but this is one of my favorite Late Night type performances ever.
I think it’s great that they have had so much success, but I still miss the chaotic fun that they used to be
