Help: My VH4 makes some funny noises

What you are listening to is my VH4 (guitar is turned down, the amp`s mastervolume is on 7 o clock, which means the amp is not very loud.)

My amp started to make these sizzling noises 1 1/2 weeks ago.

Listening to the clip you can hear how the volume increases. This happened when I switched from channel 2 to channel 3.

What can I do?

Steck mal das Gitarrenkabel (mit der Gitarre angeschl.) in den seriellen Return. Ist das Geräusch dann noch vorhanden?

Sounds like a bad V1. You need a highgrade 12AX7-C
or a drive to Bad Steben.

thanks for answering to my thread. At the moment I am little bit busy. I couldn t check the amp yet as Olaf told me. I´ve got to pass some tests next week and at the moment I ve got to study like hell. Puhh
You recommended a little modding anyway. Maybe we can combine it.
