Thanks to Darren for coming back to the show and recording that. Sounds great!!!! Darren is a great player and about the nicest guy in the world.

Steve,
I can't believe we didn't record more video!!!!! Couple of Amp Show noobs, I tell ya    Clips? You mean people will want to hear clips? We gave them free T-shirts and now they want clips? :D
I know... I thought my Vado HD would sound really bad because I tried it before the show and it was terrible on voices. Wish we would have done more.

If anyone has footage of Curt playing, please contact me - henning3@cox.net

Yeah, Darren is great - much thanks to him!

Awesome Steve  you've found a winner that's for sure!

Darren you  as well, great playing!

Is there a possibility to find dealers accross the pond by any chance...? ;)
Glad you like what you hear - there is more coming. I'm only selling direct at this point...

I'll say this- for as nice as that sounded (and as great a player as Darren is) that's nothing compared to what it was in the room, or the experience of playing the amp.

The amp has the perfect "aunch" :D on the first channel, the second channel just crushes for 80's (and straight radio rock), and the full saturation mode was totally usable.

The thing that impressed me most, was just how usable the whole thing was; no drastic leaps in tone, just a very logical progression.

I'm picky, and I REALLY dug Steve's amp; if I'm being totally honest, I dug it far more than I expected.

If I were playing more, I'd already have one, and I continue to debate buying one anyway.

Sounds great Steve!
How many tube gain stages does this amp have!

Ok. This amp must be great. This is from the critic's critic. This is all you should listen to. From the same guy who told another builder his amp had no bass and sounded like shit. Not sure who that was but I can tell you this guy is as honest as they come like it or not. If you have shit on your shirt he will be the first one to tell you.

It did sound glorious in the room. I contemplated bringing my recording rig and getting some quality clips but knew it would be a FULL day at the show and more work compiling and organizing clips. Maybe another time.

Amp sounded incredible. Darrens an awesome dude and great player too.

Wow...... great tone and smoking playing! Would love to hear one in person. Congrats Steve!

Thanks so much, Jerry! I'm sorry I didn't get over to check out your amps. Honestly, I saw nothing at the show - I was in my room the whole time...

Steve

Sounds really good! :) I'm hearing a few different characteristics in there that I really like. You're right, it's tough to convey an amp's true tone through a video cam but this gets the point across. I am a fan!
