I have a splawn competition 50 for sale. Which is a 50 watt quickrod no clean channel. I would give you deal.

Why did you sell? I’m really interested in a QR although I’ve never heard of played one. Just based on videos on YouTube. They seem to sound great

I’m really close to just ordering on even though I’ve never played one. What kind of music do you play? Do you have a more recent one with all the news additions and features?
 
I had an 09 Quick Rod that had just barely more gain than a stock JCM800. I dumped that thing and got a 2012 model and that sounds like a proper Splawn. So they are out there.

I've had a few over the years. I had a 2006 that was really bright and aggressive. It sounded great. I currently have an '09 that sounds killer. I'm tempted to pick up a newer one at some point.

@just42dave is a solid seller here. I've bought stuff from him and so has countless others. I believe he is on the east coast somewhere. PM him - he is very responsive. FWIW, I ran my QR at 50w for many years but mainly just to save on tubes. PS: You can probably find his listing in the Classifieds. If you have not added 2 factor authentication here on R-T you should do that. If you need help - let me know.

You have more than 50 posts so you are good there. You will probably just need to add 2 Factor Authentication to your profile here. There is a discussion thread and some tutorial stuff in the Classified section. I think I used Google but you can use Microsoft Authenticator (app) or similar as well. If you have a Google account, it should be pretty straight forward. It does take a bit to propagate so it is not immediate, but no more than a few hours usually.
