Hey vlad/amp modders, pre-PIMV vs PPIMV / other mods

So I grabbed a built Metro 100w plexi '69 superlead spec for sale over at TGP, I put in the Lar-Mar PPIMV into it and everything works perfectly, now just deciding what else I can do to hack it up. Figured I would fuck around with modding this one and order another one to build from the ground up soon.

I'm reading a bunch of stuff over at the metro forums but there is so much crap to dig through, so couple quick questions..

PPIMV vs Pre-PIMV - what differences would I hear putting in a Pre, also if I want to convert from the PPIMV to a pre which schematic should I use, the one that is on the 2203?

What are some common mods to add more gain to it so I can maybe do a search over there?

Is there a way I can make a switchable mod that switches from a 2203 to a Superlead stock?

I also keep hearing about a 1959/RR mod, what is that?

The Rich Mod sounds good but I like the stock 2203 MV Circuit better.

So a big reason why a lot of people try it and don't like it is because they don't know the idea behind it

So now that I know the idea behind this it will sound better?

I may have to give it a shot again now knowing what I know.
