High Gain Class A Head

I have a Badcat Lynx 50 head and have had to use a Y splitter for channel switching, and no effects loop. I'm looking for clean volume for solos for the dirty side and not gobs of compression or gain. What's my best approach for the volume need without having to mod my amp? I tried a Modtone Cleanboost and it seems like it cuts my volume

MXR has some cool boosts too. Otherwise, I'm thinking tone back your pickups.

You’re only decent options for a volume boost is an attenuator with either switchable levels or a switchable bypass or to have the amp modded with a switchable 2nd Master. Pedals will only further compress your sound and saturate it, but not add volume. Now a dirt pedal into an amp on edge of breakup may get it done depending on the dynamics of the amp circuit.
Or get a loop put in it and use a switchable EQ or something similar to boost or cut.
