How about a little Tool from today…

Can anybody recognize everything AJ has in this live rack? Mainly curious what’s between the Furman and the TC.

Amazing cover. Hand of Doom is one of my favorites, and nice to see them in the other supergroup sets. And cool to see it morph into Aenema. Two songs from that album is a treat, along with Forty Six & 2. Four musicians at the top of their game, still. Now leverage some of this mojo and put out another damn album!

Great song, not a big tool fan but hand of doom rules

I'm not 100% positive most of that stuff is even on or being used. The voltage regulator at the bottom is off. The Furman is off. The two small units above it are off. The TC is off. The Line6 is off, etc.
Haha yeah for sure. Maybe it’s not even his rack. Never known him to use any of this gear. But it was there next to his amps during his set.

Never seen that rack before. If I had to guess at the pedals in top shelf I'd say the pink one could be a Providence Chrono Delay and the grey one could be a MXR Micro flanger. Both are pedals he's used on his board.
It also looks like a Roland Cube 30 amp mounted in there.

Is the unit at the bottom with the purple/blue fascia one of those fancy expensive Japanese Kikusui power supplies like Angus has?
(PCR1000MA or PCR2000MA)

edit: Mind you, neither the Marshall or VH4 was even powered on.

Their performance was excellent. Surprised with only Aenma songs played. Which is my fav of theirs. Makes sense now why he had the Super bass. He may have needed the rack to replicate some tones from that era as well. This was AJ at his finest IMO. Hand of Doom was also a great song choice for them. Slayer also does a great cover of it on NIB II.

The only thing he’s nailing with that rack is silence.. none of that is turned on

Pedal rack inside I meant. Just speculating. I'm a fan but never chased his tone.
I’m guessing the rjm effect gizmo is switching those pedals. That unit isn’t on as it has a green pilot light when on and then each loop lights up blue when engaged

It does sound good. I guess the whole thing was done digital and all the amps were for show. On second listen, Adam doesn't seem to have quite the 'edge of uncontrollable feedback' going but it's still close.

Maynard missed quite a few notes but that band is so damn good.

I could see why the band is called Tool. They all look like a bunch of fucking tools. The sound sucks. You’re salivating at the guitarist’s gear like it’s anything special. You can’t even hear the fucking guy, he’s not even audible.
They sound like the men’s room in a Taco Bell after being served tainted Burritos.
