I don't think a rock band ever existed that had such consistently high caliber guitarists over multiple lineup changes. Gorham, Bell, Moore, Robertson, Sykes, White, etc etc. I'm still amazed by the quality of Robertson's blues solo on "Night Life". Guy was on point.

I think it's a kicka** band that didn't get the recognition it deserved while it was still going. A damn shame, happens to too many great acts.

Love them! Huge influence, way beyond the guitarists.
As said above, fantastic different eras, each with their own gems.
One of those great classic bands that also took another dimension live.

I did get to see them live only one time, and that was in 1978 when Gary Moore and Scott Gorham were on guitar.

I think these 2 made my favorite guitar pairing in TL.

I really enjoy TL - they've had so many fantastic guitar players over the years. My cover band started playing The Boys are Back in Town and the crowd loves it, especially the harmonized outro.

Notice Moore breaking a string almost immediately. Sad that 3 of the 5 here are no longer with us....

Any Lizzy fan should have this live album and if you don't try and find it as you wont be disapointed.

John Sykes on all vocals as well on this one. I listen to this album all the time .

I discovered UFO fairly young and always consider Schenker to be one of my biggest influences. However for some reason, Thin Lizzy slipped past me and I've never really checked them out. I should go do that.
