A positive from the Tariffs is that it also weakens the dollar more, making American exports cheaper and more affordable for countries negotiating a deal to have access to the American economy and the largest economy in the world.

This allows countries to invest here negotiating a deal at a lower cost with a weak dollar, allows access to the American economy and opens the door to work out and negotiate on better tariff policy for them as well.

Up 1,500 then down to -800 and then closing at -320. That's a wild ride.

I'm still hopeful that a trade solution can be reached in the coming weeks or months. But if not, might be good time to buy any expensive amp before it gets more expensive. Amps are what we care about, right?

I think it's about time to put the phone on the charger...

I actually hope all the people bitching about the stock market end up going broke. Serves them right for being fucking idiots. 🤷‍♂️ :ROFLMAO:
Honestly we shouldn't wish ill will on others IMO but America needs to watch out for itself and self interest. But it is ironic those pointing at stocks as a "gotcha moment" are themselves invested in the status quo and really the only ones who will be hurting is them being invested in the status quo.

2020 and Covid-19/The Pandemic showed as well the US can't be dependent solely on foreign imports and supply chains especially from China and efforts were made to change that and many Americans understand this as well.

If China doesn't want to negotiate for more balanced trade and have access to the worlds largest economy here in America, I don't see an issue with it and this is exactly what most in the US want. Either balanced trade or no trade and there are no negotiations in between. Their economy is mainly driven by our markets and US customers and the US can do without China.

Other countries are open to balanced trade and negotiating access to the US market and Chinas loss is EUs/Japans/Vietnams/Indias etc etc gain.

This is a Winchester 30/30 Rifle....... the Gun that won the West......

The Chinese simply have nothing similar/comparable in their financial tool set and neither does any country in the world. And if the Chinese want to get down in a salon/bar fight...... all they have are fireworks and a slingshot at best.......

This isn't even a match and if the Chinese want to pretend they have a gun they can do so at their own will and own demise. Meanwhile other countries will fall in line, negotiate on tariff and trade deals and invest in the US and have access to its markets while China is excluded from access to the worlds largest economy/market here in America.

@Thumbpicker FWIMBW I'm very-patriotic in many senses, not least of which that I give a damn about where we've been and of course where we're headed.

Like you I'm sure, I just wanna see our so-called leaders do the RT by us. Been a while since it at least appeared that they had our best interests at-heart. Been Hell down here in Victoria for God knows how long now...

Japan amongst 1st in line to seek negotiations in balanced trade talks and many more countries are lined up to strike deals with the US and The President ^_^

I don't care about replacing those things. I have 4 brand new computers I bought last year that I have not even turned on. I am worried now about getting my tomatoes and herbs, peppers, and everything in. Stop being such a fucking consumer.

I will send you those things. Always have way too much of everything every harvest.
Will smuggle you some 6L6 in some squashes too and get around upcoming interstate tariffs :ROFLMAO:

There really is no other way to explain this other than market manipulation by Chinas "National Team"....... the levees are holding up but this is a clear sign of market manipulation and a reason for the tariffs proving The Presidents point......

Next time you need to replace your Macbook or Iphone it'll be fun with 100% tariffs on the parts that go into them. Then you'll say to yourselves - gees I'd better go to Android and then you'll see they have a 25% - 100% tariff depending on whether they come from Korea or China. At that point you'll rig up a set of tin cans with a piece of string :p

Are any of your TV sets made in the USA? I don't think so...

Shit is going to get real pretty fast :p
How about some cheese with your whine?

This weather here is buckwild lately, I have been waiting to plant everything but just last night we had a freeze...left to go fishing this morning and it was 33. I always welcome 6L6 laden veggies though.
