I had no idea pickup rings were so complicated. I've changed rings back and forth on many guitars and never came across this problem. I guess I'm not understanding what happened?

Yep this kid (I assume he's a child, based on his thought process, or lack thereof) has already been banned on two different forums today for posting this same thread and acting out the same way he did here. Dude is a winner!
