How long do you wait before you officially call out someone

Not cool at all. That is way too long. Done a lot of deals online, only a few have gone sideways, making it public after you have done all you can is the only way for it to get stopped. Things happen, shipping, emergencies, etc, but this is straight up shady.

Strange. He's been around here a long time and I've seen very positive feedback from those who have dealt with him. This sucks and I hope everything gets worked out!

I don't understand why people feel the need to protect those who screwed them over... potentially screwing someone else in the future.

There's a handful of individuals from this very forum I'd NEVER in a million years deal with after being thankfully warned via text / phone call / email.

That's some bullshit. Good call on outing him, no one needs to deal with people like that.

I tried to buy an amp from a guy a few weeks ago, I tell him I'll take it, says he's never shipped an amp...I advise him to have it packed at a store and never hear back. People can be idiots...
 
I sold Todd an Uberschall awhile back & no issues. I hope everything is OK with him & he makes things right. Sorry for your troubles OP, getting the shaft sucks.
 
I once shipped a single Rec to LA and the headshell cracked. I was pissed cuz I packed it super solid. Anyway, buyer wanted to keep the amp cuz it worked, so I he decided to drive to Mesa and told me a new headshell was $300. I paid him $300 instantly and then dealt with the UPS claim to get reimbursed my $300. That's how it should go down.

If he didn't give you the uber back, he shoulda gave you the money from the uber sale. And Jim from Scumback is right. Here we are April 15th, that is way too long, and for you to see NAD threads in the meantime woulda made me freak. Patience is virtue, but so is honor. Shoulda been taken care of as quick as possible.

+1 If he has money to buy new gear, he has money to pay you back. He left you high and dry for almost 4 months now? Fuck. That. :gethim:
 
Never dealt with him,but am surprised none the less.

Now that it's out,he will have his chance to publicly state his case.

Or he will just disappear.
 
You have been more than patient and I will not wait 6 months to get my money back. I will call his local PD and report it.
 
It's gets F-up when he suddenly has to intercept the amp I'll bet he did not inform you of this I wonder what he told FedEx when my amp was damaged by FedEx they never took it ..I'm sure he told then he refunded your money already..worst part is the posting of new gear acquired by this scammer..
