How to get views on a YT guitar channel

If she wants the likes to skyrocket she just needs to title a vid “I show my Step Brother a Stairway to Heaven”

Man, she‘s got nothing on some of the girl “drummers” out there. Plus she’s got that winning U.K. Dental plan going on. Which makes it even better actually ??‍♂️
Like the Japanese girls who are all mushi mushi, hee hee, school girl cute and then smile and show you a complete horror show of abusive, enamel geometry.
Bottom line, it’s her choice to make. She certainly needs to play more guitar than spend time filming herself going to guitar places. Now that I know her level, the vids are an easy skip. If she‘s out there being nice to folks and not a Diva, I wish her luck with it.

To me the ultimate combo of guitar rock wizardry, sex appeal and just some down to Earth graciousness and good humor is Courtney Cox. Almost all her vids where it’s just her at home are little, to no makeup, hoodie or not super revealing tank top and just laying down some awesome metal jams. Just a killer player and seems like a good person to know too. Plus she’s actually out there playing some sweet gigs, where you better bring the chops.

at 1:00 it’s psychedelic cowboy b-bender, at 8:00 she improvises classical lines, at 11:00 it’s bebop jazz…she just needs a good amp and fx endorsement. suhr would be perfect.

Ehm, you mean the redhead from the Iron Maidens, right?
Most of *those* YT videos show a lot of revealing tanktops.
I once opened up for them with James Rivera and we were hanging out backstage. She was in cargo shorts, hair in a 'this is a bathrobe and pyamas-only- weekend' bun and flip-flops during soundcheck, looking almost mundane mom-like. ?
Then it was showtime and I don't know what girl-magic she pulled (with the help of a little spandex shapewear maybe), but 'truckdriver Tracy' turned into bombshell Bazooka.

So uh, maybe not the best example of a female guitar player not putting her assets to full use for a little extra. ?

That being said, she does have mad chops. ?My only complaint of the show was that her Friedman tone was way too dark and chunky to be used for her Adrian Smith parts.
And she gave me one of her signature pics. ?

Newsflash, someone put on stage clothes and makeup to go play hard rock/metal on a stage. Probably no more than any man does. ?‍♂️
If anything the way you described her backstage exemplifies she doesn’t care about that stuff and realizes it’s place is when the stage lights come on.
Her at home vids have no revealing tank tops. Unless you consider it improper for a woman to wear a tank top at all? Are you so far gone that 1/2” of cleavage at the top sends you running to confession?

How the fuck did you come to *that* conclusion, dude? :dunno:

I'm just saying in the world of female guitarplayers that are not looking to benefit from what God (or Dr. Fisher :unsure:) gave them, I would look for better examples than Courtney.

You don’t understand the Show in show business do you? On stage and promotional pics are just that, selling an image. She’s not a breathy, little, androgynous “creative” like Sarah Longfield. Once I looked her up (hadn’t heard of her) it all made sense your attitude about it.
Courtney is from a completely different genre and mindset. She plays plays F’n Metal. She’s a Valkyrie of guitar.
So any guy with abs who plays without his shirt on in a hard rock band must be a whore then I guess? Or dudes in their assless chaps in the 80’s. There’s a big difference between an actual professional musician putting together an image that matches the genre they’re in, on stage and in promotional shots and someone doing home video’s where all they have to offer is sexuality and they purposely put it front and center.

I like Courtney because she has the heart or a real, rock n roller and it shows in her playing…and as a man who actually likes a grown woman who doesn’t look like a non binary Star Wars character I don’t mind the way she looks doing it. (Daydreaming) Also wouldn’t mind seeing her rip in a nice little spring dress either…BUT THAT’S BESIDE THE POINT! I also dig that she shows it’s just for that aspect of it and her stuff from home is chill, dressed down and laid back.

Sarah f’n Longfield….jesus christ ?‍♂️

Considering how you describe yourself, the argument you took makes you look like a complete tool. Throw in all the self recrimination you point at yourself by projecting statements and assumptions on me that I never made and it’s even worse. I made no comments at all about who you might be or what you might play. You‘re the one who chose who you did as a counterpoint example, not me. Black and white views? Are you a college student or something who feels their safe space is threatened? That‘s what you sound like. You argue like an idiot and then attack because you have nothing meaningful or relevant to say.
