How would I go about wiring a 3x12 cab

I have six Randall 125 cabs with two 12s and a 15 in them (all 8 ohm). They were wired in series and had to have a solid state amp on them.

But...I changed them up by running two 8 ohm 12s and a 16 ohm 15 in series/parallel setup. More power to the 15. Bad ass cabs now.

EDIT: Scratch that (idea for a slight mismatch)

The 16 ohm speakers that I have, I got from someone who built their own 2x12 cabinet. They are "MSP Radial Beam Duo Speaker" 12PQCB" 12" speakers. I don't know what wattage they are, but I suspect they are 25 watts.

I'm concerned that if I connect them so they receive 25% of the power (50 watts, peaking to 100 watts), they'll blow up. Would this happen?

At 50 watts they would each be getting 12.5 watts, and at a peak of 100 they would each see 25 watts. If they are rated at 25 I think they should be OK.

Okay then, thanks for that.

I have 3 3x12 speakers and was wandering how I would go about wiring them together to equal the same ohm's??? Has anyone ever just used 3 speakers in a cab????

2 16ohm and a 8 ohm. A few combinations depending on what ohms you want.
