Mark, What is different with this clip. Is this the same amp? If not did this one and the newest one sound similar to you in the room?

Different guitar, pickups, cab, speakers, 1 E609 and the Edirol R09-HR mixed together. Not the same amp but ya they did sound very similar in the room for sure :)

Mark
Thanks. Is this also a proto, or this an older amp?

Looks like an older one so..theoretically...a proto...?? :D

I loved all your remix part Mark, with the exception of the AC/DC section.
That had nothing to do with your playing or the remix. I just think that
in that particular section the amp was ball-less. No low end thunk to smack
you in the chest.

Other than that small caveat from me, I think the amp sounds superb.

I'll ask since nobody else will......what post processing did you do? Please share!

Delayed one mic channel by inserting a Logic Sample Delay set at around 792 on the strip, added a Waves RVerb guitar plate reverb at about 1.2secs and a Waves Doubler to the guitar bus..ever so slighty. The Sample delay is what makes it sound bigger. Waves LL3 Ultra and a Waves C4.

Sounds great! :) I think I liked the original clips a little better though.  As always, killer playing.

I like the pick attack dynamics on those clips, the amp has a really cool response. I think it sounds quite good mic-ed up both dry and wet, but probably is just over the top awesome in the room.

I'm wondering why people are putting so much stock into a couple minute clips here? I'm no pro, but actually being in the room is the only good way to evaluate an amp IMO. Getting the air moving and feeling your fillings rattle makes all the difference. Oh well, for the dissenters, more CCVs for the rest of us?

I do think the "prototype" video did sound better but still sounded glorious nonetheless. Good stuff Mark and I appreciate the work/time you've spent on this

mark-i feel like you are looking into my soul during the video.

Many men have wished for that to be so.

Is that some 2011 or 2025 or 2003 recording future speak? Gawd I love the power in the 2011 days but I miss the olden method a bunch ha

Drama queens.

Lots of forum cred and past sales hinge on this amp, sweaty palms bang away on keyboards.

Mark should breath more and relax, he is doing a fine job pleasing lots of men here.

I agree with Mark on one topic, his request for clips from some should be granted.

i think that if u liked amp in the old clips and dont like the amp in the new clips it is your mind playing tricks on you. Sort of like the placebo effect in the way we trick ourselves. Oh and mark, great job on the clips and the playing, it sounds great the way the clip is put together!!
