….The Nuge. Don’t care about his political stuff and all his excentricity. He is a prime American rock legend and there never will be anyone like him again.
when i was like 6, my biker neighbor gave me a mix cassette tape of bad ass rock and roll, and "wang dang sweet puntang" was on there. even that young, i was like damn, this shit fucking rocks hard as fuck. tonight is my 43rd birthday and im listening again for old times sake, and this shit still fucks hard

Dog Eat Dog has one of my favorite Nuge studio solos for sure. The Double Live Gonzo album was the one that did it for me though. The first song I ever figured out how to play was “Dog Eat Dog”. In the dark ages before tab/internet.
He had a bunch of good tunes.
I can tolerate him in small doses. Wango Tango, however, is one of the most annoying songs of all time.
Letting Derek go was one of Ted's biggest mistakes. He's got such a great voice. His work with Derek St. Holmes is fantastic. It's too bad that partnership wasn't more fruitful.
