When i'll be finished with it i will release a video giving away the main mod but not the details. Without talking about the mods that one is already 30min long just talking about ed's guitars and pickups... This has been 10 years of relentless research man of course i can't give everything away. I bought countless gear, tubes, modded amps, a bray 4550, vintage pedals, i even restored a real echoplex at home. If i took all the time i spent only using deep search tools to get old pictures, old statements, researching all the forums, the books and guitar magazines i probably spent around half a year or more only doing that non stop.I learnt how to build amps 3 years ago. last two years i have been relentlessly modding super lead circuits. As i finished my studies and was jobless for 6months i fully invested myself into it at 100%. How it began ? I was disappointed that my bray 4550 sounded like very album except vh1. I even build myself pulltechs and urei units XD but it wasn't the secret at all.

if i remember correctyl you were on of those saying i was crazy and reading into bullshit... so it's not like my reputation was bad... Man how many builders on these forums have their own secret mods and tease you how they sound ? But you buy their amps too no ?

Ok but believe me that many of the legends you listen to had their own secret mods. That's why people sounded so different they sounded unique not lame as factory amps which sound the same. Most of the legends during the 80's were doing their own unique stuff unique pickup winds, combining weird sound concepts, asking modders for crazy mods. Nowadays people have sterile sound because we all got what came from factory. If i ever decide to be a full time modder i will sell unique mods that i will never double. Completely unique circuit once. I currently have many crazy ideas like merging an ac30 with a super lead.

what did i do that was bad ? are you raging because i wont give those mods away ? Most of the time people came to me aggressively saying it wasn't moodded, you're a fool, you have bad hearing... I kept being polite and composed. I never insulted anyone on the guitar communities and you just said Fu to me wtf ? You perhaps need some emotionnal management.

If that tone is so good then why did the guy who created the tone ditch it for the most part and go for a completely different tone? I am not a big Van Halen fan, I like some of their songs...but it's pretty easy to see that EVH could have used whatever amp there was and make it work.
