I finally got the Blackstar HT-5 head a few days ago

I don't think it has all that much gain, but with a boost it easily has more than enough. Almost every amp sounds better with a boost though.

Thats why I slapped in a C9. It has more gain on the USA side of the ISF.

Yeah, I put a NOS RFT in mine. Gave it a bit more edge.
