I refuse to let Cancer win today . . .

Doing much better as I stopped letting ppl stick needles in my arms and hands which was destroying my ability to play for any useful period of time and had a chest port installed. The treatments they are giving at U of P are so much easier to tolorate. I don't feel like death eating a cracker after an infusion. I'm eating like a horse but still losing weight. They are aware of this and monitoring me. I have great bloodwork test results so things are very much improved.
My oncologist and her team came up with a strait forward game plan and they are wrapping as many services as seems prudent for each day I am at the hospital (combining tests and scans etc). They have coordinated everything as opposed to me have to chase departments down and try to get everything on the same day. They have just been wonderful,and it's made everything far less stressful.
I got to play with my guys last night and they have all been telling me I sound so much better that last months reheasals. Back to far more positive mindset and working on new material with them. The postive mindset as been a serious benifit and I know it will effect the outcome.

PS: Me and my wife just bought a whole slew of "F☠️ ck Cancer cloths to wear :ROFLMAO:

No problem Johnny. I haven't, and won't be forgetting about your situation. I'm dumb but I have a good memory when it comes to those enduring hard times. I don't have much to offer but what I can offer is to keep you and others struggling with medical troubles in my prayers. Play well and be well! Lord bless.☦️
 
I could not be happier :rawk: The last round of treatment included chest CT and liver MRI with the whole range of bloodwork before I met with my Oncologyst. When we met . . . . The room was in tears and hugs all around as my wife and I learned every tumor has shrunk by more than 1 CM!!!!!! Furthermore, due to the high quality images at U of P MRI, the tumor thought to have metastasized to the main artery through my liver turned out to be a Thrombosis (blood clot) and not a tumor that is now 8 CM smaller than in June. All my bloodwork is far improved and the tumor markers are down almost 20%. It looks like the Domm and Gloom portion of our (wife and I ) lives is over and we have been celibrating all week.

Thank you all for helping me stay positive and keep focused on my part in fighting cancer. You all have been great an uplifting during this struggle and I could not have asked for more.

I think it might be time for a new amp to celelebrate.....
 
Unfortunately we can't count on modern medical professionals to eradicate cancer.

We all need to be aware of what our bodies are exposed to.

Pesticides and herbicides, fragrance chemicals, chlorine and fluoride in our water, Nitrates and Nitrites and all all other preservatives in our foods.

Please be conscious of these things so we can all live long and healthy lives.
