I heard your album in various stages including the masteered version. And usually every 3rd time I talk to Anton I ask him whether he sold your ass yet.
You should know by now that most of the time you run into folks who talk, end of story. Look at Anton with his Elektra shit, and me with my EMI and Atlantic crap. This is/was par for the course. That said with where the industry is headed who knows.

As for the album...thretically it should mke you a household name, but if not it'll be a hell of a clling card.

Listened to "My Machine" and "Easy to Love" so far. The only thing I can say I don't like are a couple of the vocal parts. Everything else kicks serious ass. If I heard either of these songs on the radio, I'd be on iTunes or Amazon looking to buy them or the CD.

Works fine here. There are some MacOSX folders with dot files in the zip, though. I'm listening to the first song now, sounds pretty decent. I like it but I'm too much of an extreme metal guy to be actually buying something of this genre... My girl would love this though, she likes blues with attitude.

The music industry is pretty tough and unfair (as in having connections and fitting marketing demographics), I've got several friends that have quit or are thinking about doing so... Especially the 30 barrier seems to be a hard limit, with people having mortgages and families... Don't give up too quickly though, this stuff sounds pretty professional and I can't see why it wouldn't work out for you given half a decent chance. The time of getting filthy rich with guitar rock is probably a pipe dream in today's world and with the state of the music business as it is, but it must be probable to make a decent living with making music.

All the above...other than one band gig, all I have the next 6 weeks is acoustic shows. And then the SUmmer crunch starts, so we have to add new material, and that ends in the Jason Aldean tour in September.

As for JMPs...fuck yeah, I was just on the phone with Ray who has become the rainmain of 60s Marshalls. So that's rubbing off.

As for the honey do list...I was suppossed to rip out floors to tile tomorrow, but talked my way out of it.
