I want a 24 3/4 scale guitar, but not an LP

Depends on what style you want, of course... but the Charvel 750XL is 24.75", as is the old Peavey Vandenberg. Many of the small-bodied Valley Arts strats are 24.75" too.

Anderson Cobra.

I'm not sure about the quality anymore, but Valley Arts gives you an option of either scale length ....

Weren't Luke's Valley Arts 24 3/4" ?

I'm gassing pretty hard for a gibson V in black with EMGs and a mirror guard!

Gotta go with Anderson as well.

If you're into 80's super-strats, the Kramer Nightswan had a 24 3/4" scale.

I'm having a custom tele built for me at that scale length.

rosewood neck, two paf's, bigsby, arm contour, silver sparkle.... FTW

I will definitely try and check some of these out. Thanks guys. I like the Caparison Horus, but I don't know about walnut or 27 frets. But I like the simple black one at guitar asylum.

Walnut is describes as a "warmer maple". I find the walnut to have an aggressiveness in the mids that I really like, yet retains a good tonal balance from the highs to the lows. My walnut Horus is one of my favorite guitars :)
