Depends on what style you want, of course... but the Charvel 750XL is 24.75", as is the old Peavey Vandenberg. Many of the small-bodied Valley Arts strats are 24.75" too.

I'm not sure about the quality anymore, but Valley Arts gives you an option of either scale length ....

Weren't Luke's Valley Arts 24 3/4" ?

If you're into 80's super-strats, the Kramer Nightswan had a 24 3/4" scale.

I will definitely try and check some of these out. Thanks guys. I like the Caparison Horus, but I don't know about walnut or 27 frets. But I like the simple black one at guitar asylum.

Walnut is describes as a "warmer maple". I find the walnut to have an aggressiveness in the mids that I really like, yet retains a good tonal balance from the highs to the lows. My walnut Horus is one of my favorite guitars
